The Global Network on Emergency Medicine (GNEM) is a vibrant and dynamic non-profit association founded in 2012. At GNEM, we are passionate about driving progress in Emergency Medicine (EM) through collaboration, innovation, and education. Our mission is to enhance the quality and safety of EM practices worldwide, foster cutting-edge research, and provide top-tier educational opportunities for healthcare professionals.

Our global network is built on strong partnerships with EM leaders worldwide. GNEM is renowned for organizing and co-leading impactful scientific events where GNEM collaborate with existing congress across the world. We contribute to groundbreaking global research projects and lead scientific tracks at various conferences.

Our events cover many EM topics, such as life support, clinical emergency medicine, paediatric emergency medicine, trauma and surgery emergency medicine, global healthcare, ethics and legal medicine, geriatric emergency medicine, quality and safety, clinical and basic research, pre-hospital EM, trauma EM, disaster medicine and emergency response.

Vision

The vision of GNEM is to develop science in all areas of Emergency Medicine across the world special focusing on developing countries and to spread the knowledge through scientific events gathering healthcare providers, students, residents, senior doctors, nurses, and administrators working in Emergency Medicine.

Mission

GNEM is a non-profit association of Emergency Medicine (EM) healthcare providers with a special interest for Global Health, Clinical EM, Quality & Safety, Education in EM, Point of Care Ultrasound, Pre-hospital EM and Life Support, Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric EM, Disaster Medicine, Trauma EM, EM Organisation and Structures (Architecture, Design, Technology innovation), and Research in EM.
